The Trooper Bear Program is an important building block in a young child’s character development.

Knowing right from wrong and how to interact with others is not something they can figure out on their own, and it is a boring topic to discuss at home. But the Trooper Bear Program makes it fast-paced, fun and brings important video examples to their attention so they know how to act when the real situation faces them later on. Learning courtesy, respect and compassion can be a valuable lesson for many young children.

Teaching Children to Become Troopers

The word “Trooper” is used to describe a group of people who work hard every day to do something very important. From a State Trooper to a Paratrooper, they do an important job based on their training, knowledge, intelligence, commitment and understanding. The Trooper Bear Program will make young children into a Trooper who is more respectful, compassionate, understanding and helpful to people with disabilities and other people in need.

Our Trooper Bear program was developed to appeal to our primary demographic of Kindergarten through Third Grade children. We strive to deliver our wholesome message of compassion, empathy, courtesy, and thoughtfulness in a way that engages the students so that these fleeting but fun moments can solidify into lifelong lessons. We’re so excited to work with your class to ensure that they learn these valuable life skills!

Our program features a variety of source materials for children to fully interact with the curriculum. A Teaching Guide is provided and we also provide 9 DVD videos, each about 10 to 15 minutes long, to use each month to cover one of these subjects. These high-quality videos bring celebrity and sports personalities, wounded soldiers, and other everyday people with disabilities, being interviewed by Trooper Bear, telling the students how they want to be treated by others. We deliver the message in our signature, entertaining style to ensure it appeals to the students

Program cost is based on classroom size of 15 students.

Second Year Kits at a Lower Cost

After the first year, the school can order a refreshment kit that replaces the coloring books, take home bears, student trooper badges and certificates of completion, so they can use the larger props and videos for another class. The material is appropriate for ages 4 to 9, and is done in a very entertaining format to keep the children’s attention while getting the messages across to the kids.

A Visit to Remember

A typical classroom visit from Trooper Bear lasts between 30-40 minutes.
